Summary: Google's personalized home page does not stay logged in
Product: konqueror
Version: unspecified
Platform: Compiled Sources
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: konq-bugs kde org
ReportedBy: oshogg gmail com
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Hi,
I have set up Google's personalized page as my home page. This page,
http://www.google.com/ig
has a weird problem with Konqueror. Every time I start konqueror; it asks me to log \
in. Even though I have clicked on the "remember me" button, it does not remember me. \
Note that once I log in to it - logging in from another tab/ a new window of \
konqueror lets me log in without having to type my password again. However, if I quit \
konqueror and then launch konqueror again - I have to type my password again. Very \
annoying
thanks,
Osho
PS: I know that I can use kwallet to not have to type my password manually. That \
reduces this annoyance a little. But, I still think that Google's personalized home \
page should be logged in between sessions of konqueror.
