Summary: genre-tag should be checked before starting jobs
           Product: kaudiocreator
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: ben meyerhome net
        ReportedBy: sven.burmeister gmx net

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

I got an encoding error that stated something like: Klassik, genre-tag not \
supported/known.

I am not sure why this should stop lame from encoding since it is up to the user to \
decide which genre-names to use, but anyway.

For most users it would be very helpful, if KAudioCreator would check whether the \
tags passed to lame are actually accepted, e.g. if Klassik is a "standard-conform" \
genre-tag and if not, give a notification that it has to be altered before \
proceeding.
