Sorry if I used this for a question.

But the main idea of my bug report still remains. 
The menu is logically in no way linked with the viewing area. It however has to do \
with the frame of the window and the toolbar. So I would expect the option there and \
not in the viewing area.

Now there is a new problem: Whenever I start kpdf there is no menu. If I get it back \
and close kpdf and restart kpdf the menu is gone again.

(I would like to try the kpdf of kde 3.5 but I can not because the suse packages are \
broken)
