The taskbar entry mail notification is very useful as it tells you the number of new \
mails you have.

It does, however, only count mails in the folders that are currently not selected. 

For example if there are 3 new mails in 'Inbox' and 4 new mails in 'Work', it will \
show 3 if 'Work' is selected, 4 if 'Inbox' is selected and 7 if some other folder is \
selected. 

This can be annoying as no notification will arrive for mails that arrive in the \
Inbox, when it is selected --- a very common occurance.
