OOo2.0 just doesn't start and firefox 1.5 complains that "system:" is an unknown protocol, which is understandable since firefox doesn't use kio-slaves, but I thought that KDE parsed a usable fil-location too non-KDE apps. when using kio-slaves. As far as I remember it wasn't a problem in KDE3.4 with it's media-kioslave.
