Found (not easy!) the origin of this bug:

in Playlist::Playlist() change

setItemsRenameable( true );

to 

setItemsRenameable( false );

and the keyboard has the focus as it should.

setItemsRenameable( true ) allows to rename colums and write tags but for some reason \
it does not work (Qt bug ?). It just steals the focus and does not permit to edit \
columns.

There is a slight chance you will see this bug fixed before you die, but barely :)
