I think it will complicate matters in a way that it is inpossible to satisfy \
everyone. So someone edits it in gimp, then edits it in digikam. What should we do \
then, protect the original image (before gimp) or the modified one (after gimp). I \
can tell you there will be a bug where a user screams: "hey, my modification in gimp \
cost me ages, now i reverted to the original image and now my gimp work is lost. I'll \
keep #0 in mind, butthe rest not, maybe another developer wants to work on this, you \
never know.
