Summary: amaroK won't play some streams
           Product: amarok
           Version: 1.3
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: amarok-bugs-dist lists sourceforge net
        ReportedBy: bensaylor fastmail fm

Version: 1.3 (using KDE 3.4.1, Debian Package 4:3.4.1-1 (3.1))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.6 (Debian 1:3.3.6-5)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.8

When I try to play a stream by clicking on a link on a web page (usually to a .pls \
file), amaroK opens but won't always play the stream. For example, it will play \
streams from http://yp.shoutcast.com/
and
http://somafm.com/
but not
http://deepmix.ru/index-e.php
or
http://www.mops-radio.org/radio3/radio3.php

With the latter two, the status bar displays the message "Some media could not be \
loaded (not playable)." However, if I drag and drop the link onto amaroK, all of the \
above streams will play. This happens with the Xine and GStreamer engines.
