whiy didn't you mention that in comment #1 or #3?
regarding the "--dont-show" proposal: it's mostly annoying to have the window on the \
desktop, the systray entry may stay (so a) you know kmix is running already and b) \
may open the window by purpose). if your proposal only covers the window, ignore it. \
and if it helps: see that on both a dell inspiron 6000 and an acer aspire 1355lc.
