They are not properly imported in kaddressbook and result in some strange asian characters. As an example, when I import a vcard containing character ä (hex-unicode: #C3A4), I would get the strange asian character. Furthermore exporting it as vcard 3.0 results in the strange hex representation of #EFBE83EFBDA4 of the new character. When I change the character within kaddressbook to the proper ä, it is exported correctly. In the KDE version contained in SuSE 9.2 it worked properly. Thanks for your help, Frank Fischer.
