If someone starts KMix, I can't help it - sorry.
Probably it is KMilo, KAlarm (but you didn't check that :-( ) or something else. Definitely I am in no position to find out for you. This is obviously not a KMix bug, and bugs.kde.org is not a help system.
If you find out, a hint would be appreciated, though.
A last comment (again): Check whether you rund KMilo or KAlarm , stop them and see if the problem persits.
