Then I usually stop the browser from loading the page, go back, middle-click the other link and left-click the first link again. Or, I click the other link with the left mouse-button instead of the first link. Now, if only I could have a way of opening the previous page in a new tab! Despite your browsing habits, I see no arguments for not making it possible for Konqueror to open the previous page in a new tab. My favorite way of doing that, would be to simply middle-click the back button. How I wish that it was possible! I have even middle-clicked it intuitively in the past, with nothing happening.
