Summary: Button for turning on/off crossfading
           Product: amarok
           Version: 1.2.3
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: amarok-bugs-dist lists sourceforge net
        ReportedBy: wilson.william gmail com

Version: 1.2.3 (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc-3.4.3
OS: Linux

It would be great if amaroK included an option to quickly turn on or off crossfading \
without going to Settings -> Configure amaroK -> Engine. The reason this would be \
nice is that for some songs, i.e. those with dramatic endings, crossfading is \
extremely undesirable. On the other hand, if ones playlist is full of similar \
sounding music, it can be quite pleasant. A quick way to switch it on or off would be \
a wonderful usability enhancement.

A good place to put such a button might be in the bottom right hand corner of the \
playlist (near the Random Mode, Repeat Playlist, Append Suggestions buttons).

Thanks, and keep up the good work!

Will Wilson
