I can confirm that this bug is back after upgrading from KDE 3.3 to 3.4.

Using slackware-current with kernel 2.6.11 and the ripper device is an Asus CD-RW  \
(CRW-5224A). The problem is basically the same as reported before, with KAudioCreator \
becoming sluggish and unresponsive as soon as you insert an audio CD.

With another drive present on the system, and old no-brand DVD drive, the problem \
only occurs when a ripping job starts.
