well, HAL is *THE* way to go. Please don't create own "hacks". Try to integrate well \
with HAL and everything is fine. HAL solves so may problems at once, so we sould \
concentrate only on HAL and a cool integration into KDE.

First of all, KInfoCenter could be updated to receive all hardware infos from HAL, \
instead of 'cat'ing some /proc files.
