This bug is still present in kde 3.4 beta1 (3.3.91), installed from gentoo packages. \
It looks exactly like the screenshot attached above. It happens in Icon view mode and \
also in Multicolumn mode.

This is on a laptop with ati 9000 mobility, using the "radeon" driver (in another bug \
report it was suggested that this might be relevant).
