ActiveWords lets you type a string, then a trigger key (or kesy) to run a command, or insert a character. A great example of ActionWords can be found here: http://www.activewords.com/demos.html, also, blogger Bren gives some good examples: http://www.slackermanager.com/slacker_manager/2005/01/i_am_in_love_wi.html This seems like it would do well in khotkeys.
