It enters a new line in CVS HEAD.

Not here. 3.4Beta2 will appear in a week or so, please test with that 
one when it comes out.

Remember that VPL heavily depends on KHTML, so Quanta 3.4(beta) on KDE 
3.3.x might crash while on 3.4 will not, due to some fixes in KHTML 
from kdelibs 3.4.
