One thing you can do is to open up a konsole (and make sure juk is still closed), and \
type at the prompt:

killall artsd; artsd -l0

This will restart aRts in debug mode.  Now open up juk and try to play a file.  If \
there's a problem using aRts, there will hopefully be an appropriate debug message \
displayed in the konsole.  Please include it with this bug.  A stack trace shouldn't \
be necessary since there is no crash.
