Actually I think JuK should build from CVS against KDE 3.3, but I'm not completely sure.

Even compiling the released tarball with debugging symbols and sending a backtrace with that would be helpful.

Unfortunately from what's here there's not anything that I can really use as a starting point (and again, it looks like a Qt bug).
