Yeah, that's something I wish it would exist!
I would suggest to display the filename right
in the context-menu, when right-clicking into
the image viewed in fullscreen mode. I use the
scroll wheel to load next images, and to get
the filename I've to right-click and then choose
the properties... not handy at all.

Or as Michal suggests, have the option to display
it right away in the fullscreen mode! hope it comes
soon!
