OK, Benjamin, I checked out the new version from CVS and compiled it. Now, the drive \
does not make this annoying clicking, and the ripping speed is incredibly reasonable. \
(I also traced kaudiocreator while ripping, and the only ioctls to cdrom are now \
CDROM_LOCKDOOR and CDROM_SUBCHNL, so repositioning is gone.) I also checked that it \
is still possible to remove the disc from the  drive while kaudiocreator is idle. 

Thanks for the fix, the bug made kaudiocreator nearly unusable, and now it is works \
again.
