It doesn't really resolve this, as whilst it emulates the soft limit properly it \
never allows you to change the hard limit, or to raise the soft limit above the hard \
limit, even if you're root.

Doing so would require moving any file descriptors valgrind was already using up to \
the new hard limit in order to maintain the separation between client file \
descriptors and valgrind file descriptors.
