Positioning cursor over the first set of parentheses shows nothing, but over the \
second and third set they turn yellow (my bracket-highlighting colour)

I'm thinking it must be some weird artefact of my colour schema ... is there a way I \
can send this for someone else to look at this through? I can't see anything in the \
color schema dialogue that ought to affect bracket-highlighting, other than the main \
"bracket highlighting" colour selector.
