I reported a similar bug #80442, but it turns out you need to set the environment \
variable KDE_UTF8_FILENAMES for UTF-8 filenames to work (assuming your locale is not \
UTF-8, it may not be necessary if your locale is already UTF-8). To convert \
filenames that are already in locale-specific encoding. You can use a tool like \
convmv http://j3e.de/linux/convmv/ to convert from legacy encoding to UTF-8.
