           Summary: autohide feature more intelligent
           Product: kicker
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Mandrake RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: jfirebaugh kde org
        ReportedBy: contusiones yahoo es

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs

A panel with auto-hide time set to 0 (eg. hide inmediately) waits for the mouse \
pointer to leave it, and then hides.

It would be a bit more usable that the panel hides only when the mouse is at least a \
number of pixels apart from the edge of the panel. It is done this way in Windows.

I believe it would be even better if the distance from the mouse pointer to the edge \
of the panel is used to calculate the speed to hide.
