Open the devices tab in the sidebar. Click the '+' in front of the floppy. The floppy is mounted and the node is expanded Click on Devices at the top of the tree. The devices are now shown in the KFM window. RMB the floppy in the KFM window and choose: "Unmount". The floppy unmounts and the icons in both the KFM and sidebar windows are updated. HOWEVER: the node in the side bar does not close. The problem is worse than just this. Open another Konqueror window and as KFM, go to the mount point for the floppy. Click on the mount point icons and it opens showing the directory which is on the now unmounted floppy. Something in KFM didn't get updated -- it still thinks that the floppy is mounted. My thought is that you shouldn't be able to unmount the floppy before closing the node in the sidebar because (technically) the device is still busy. However, if this is possible, then the node needs to be closed automatically. -- JRT
