           Summary: Kerning problem when using vera font
           Product: kword
           Version: 1.2.1
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: faure@kde.org
        ReportedBy: bugs.kde.org@tange.dk

Version:           1.2.1 (using KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from:    Gentoo
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3 20030422 (Gentoo Linux 1.4 3.2.3-r3, propolice)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-wolk4.0s-pre9

There seems to be a kerning problem when using Bitstream Vera Sans-font.

To reproduce:
* Zoom 500%
* Choose font 'Verdana'
* Type: 'vwxyz'
* Looks fine
* Choose font 'Bitstream Vera Sans'
* Type: 'vwxyz'
* 'vw' touches. 'xyz' touches.

Now this looks like a kerning problem in the font. But if you use 'Bitstream Vera \
Sans' in OOo or pfaedit this problem does not occur so the problem seems not to be in \
the font.
