Summary: Nothing shown when running without filename on command
                    line
           Product: kvim
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Debian stable
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kvim@freenux.org
        ReportedBy: cepl@surfbest.net

Version: 6.2-56 (using KDE KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages (3.0)
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i586) release 2.4.23

When running kvim without filename on command line (or from the menu via shortcut) it \
mostly (approx. 90 % or so) shows without any characters and does not display \
anything when pressing keys (neither in the vim's commandline nor in the rest of the \
windows editing area). See attached screenshot for kvim after running from command \
line.
