After crashes, I often have a blank message in my outbox consisting only of:

X-Status: RQ
X-KMail-EncryptionState: N
X-KMail-SignatureState: N
X-KMail-MDN-Sent:  
--- End Message ---

This prevents KMail from sending emails and since there is no intrusive message \
displayed with an error, I often don't notice for days that my mail isn't being sent.
