I am not using arts but I still wanted KDE to play notifications so I clicked "Player \
Settings..." in "System Notification" module in kcontrol, selected "use external \
player" and wrote "play". I later wanted to change the application used to play \
notification but realized everything in the little "Player Settings" window is \
diabled and I had to change the player by editing the config file manually.
