Not at all. The golden rule of prettyURL is that
KURL( u.prettyURL() ) == u (or at least they're equivalent).

Otherwise pressing 'Enter' in the Konqueror location bar would lead to "invalid URL". \
So prettyURL gives a URL that _is_ suitable for further processing, and its \
transformations are usually reversible. Hmm did someone tell Waldo about this BR?
