Summary: Easier method for "grouping" files
           Product: konqueror
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konq-bugs@kde.org
        ReportedBy: kdebugzilla@ser.fdns.net

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.3)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

I'd like the ability to create pseudo-directories. This can be currently \
done, but requires a fair amount of knowledge and effort:

1 - do a filter/search
2 - select the results
3 - right click somewhere
4 - choose "create directory"
5 - enter the name of the directory
6 - drag the search results to the directory
7 - select "Link here".

If this could be collapsed to one action, it would become a powerful \
organization tool; as it is, the process *just* complex enough that it is \
too cumbersome to use. I'm imagining a menu item "Group items", or \
something, that pops up a dialog for the name of the group, and then \
automatically creates the directory and links the selected files into that \
directory.
