        OS/Version: Linux

         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konq-bugs@kde.org
        ReportedBy: kdebugzilla@ser.fdns.net

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.3)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

I believe I heard about this being a feature of one of the MacOSes, and when I did, I \
realized how often I want this.

Basically, I'd like to be able to bookmark search results, creating a meta-folder. A \
use case example: I have a bunch of images in a directory, which have metadata \
keywords -- "print", "mom", "web", for example. Some images have some of the words, \
some have more than one -- some get printed and displayed in my web photo gallery, \
and some are just put in the gallery. I often use the "search" feature locate files \
for printing, or files for uploading.

It would be extremely handy to have short cuts for these searches, rather than having \
to bring up the search tool and enter the search terms every time.

PS. I've noticed a "Save as" button in the find file
