Sometimes, some windows remain on the screen even after the app has closed them \
(supposedly). This normally happens with konqueror progress windows. And its normally \
the ones that appear and (should) disappear very quicky. Like the one in the \
screenshot, where i was opening a page from a link in an email. 

The window didnt close, and then sits above all my other windows & on all my \
desktops. I've been seeing this behaviour since the change to the kwin_iii codebase, \
which otherwise is great.
