Hi!
The short discription sounds complicated - but its quite simple :-)
Example:
=======
configure an email-smtp-server "a",
don't press anything (no "ok", "apply" or "cancel") but switch back to the Identities option \
and configure a new identity "X" with Advanced->Special Transport -> "a".
Again, don't press anything but switch back to Network->Sending and delete "a" and enter a new \
sending server "b"
Now press "ok" and leave the config dialog. You have setup an identity with the illegal special \
transport "a" causing some trouble ;-)
I think when changing a config option all other options have to be rechecked for validity.
BTW:
KMail acts not like KControl during configuration: In KControl you have to apply every change \
before entering another config dialog. KMail has a "magic" apply.
Bye
Thorsten Schnebeck
