Basically, we have several different options to tackle this: 
-) turn all input fields to multiline (might not be feasible, as this takes way too much 
space) 
-) Use some kind of delimiter in the input fields to denote a line break (e.g. | ). 
Disadvantage: This delimiter cannot occur inside the fields. 
-) Disallow multiline fields at all (worst solution). 
-) leaving it as is, an unprintable/invisible character will denote the line break. 
Advantage: We don't need to process the string afterwards. Disadvantage: Not at all 
obvious where a line break appear. 
 
All of these solutions are really sub-optimal...  
Any other ideas?
