Quite often, klipper appears not to notice new selections. That is, it does not enter the new selection into its clipboard history and it does not display the action popup. Once I clear the clipboard history, klipper works again.
The new selection does make it into the clipboard, since I can paste it with the middle button as usual. It just does not reach klipper.
