Subject: Re: security certificate not stored "forever"

Here is a simple workaround for people experiencing the problem.

This should provide a workaround for people experiencing the problem.
Make sure you install the development files for the version of openssl
installed on your system.
- mandrake(cooker):	libopenssl0.9.7-devel-0.9.7a-1mdk.i586.rpm
- redhat(rawhide):	openssl-devel-0.9.7-2.i386.rpm
- debian(unstable):	libssl-dev 0.9.7a-1

This provides a libssl.so pointing to the 0.9.7 version.
Kssl should prefer this one over the hardcoded 0.9.6 version.
That should get rid of the bug.

- L.

P.S. --

Using 0.9.7 yields the following debug messages:
kdecore (KLibLoader): WARNING: KLibrary: /usr/lib/libkdecore.so.4: undefined symbol: \
PKCS7_content_free kdecore (KLibLoader): WARNING: KLibrary: /usr/lib/libkdecore.so.4: \
undefined symbol: OpenSSL_add_all_algorithms kdecore (KLibLoader): WARNING: KLibrary: \
/usr/lib/libkdecore.so.4: undefined symbol: OpenSSL_add_all_algorithms_conf kdecore \
(KLibLoader): WARNING: KLibrary: /usr/lib/libkdecore.so.4: undefined symbol: \
OpenSSL_add_all_algorithms_noconf

Georges would know whether this is important.
Maybe openssl-0.9.7 requires other source code changes...
