Summary: Editing a Mail in any folder
           Product: kmail
           Version: 1.5
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail@kde.org
        ReportedBy: tide@thunderchick.com

Version: 1.5 (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

There have been quite a few requests regarding mail editing in the outbox or drafts \
folder. I wonder why you separate drafts and out mail from received mail in that \
matter... So here's my sugestion:

1) make all mails editable by double click in the list view as well as in the display \
area (where i read the mail body). 2) add an option in the settings to let the user \
choose from the traditional popup for editing and creating mails and the idea that \
follows below 3) embed the popup's content in the display area. since we're talking \
of qt, this should not be too hard (never worked with qt myself, though) so I can \
edit mails without the annoying new window.

double clicking into the display area from 1) and complete 3) are features actually \
implemented by ibm's lotus notes and I consider these quite useful.

kind regards
