I really wonder if this has to do with your gcc version now. I am running 2.95.x and 
it works fine for me.  I haven't experienced a problem yet.  CVS HEAD also includes 
many fixes (up to today), but I really wonder if they would fix this since it worked 
before that for me.  It would be interesting to see if it works for you with gcc 2.95.x 
 
 
Is it possible to get a stack trace of the freeze or the crash with full debugging 
enabled?
