A note is really not needed. Also the version doesn't make sense. A real menu makes more sense. We can than remove the save/load/new button. The user will be able to open a unit over the menu or with Ctrl+O The same for save and new. Have you ever seen an app that has the version and a help tip on the bottom which takes nearly 3 cm ?
