Summary: File manager becomes unresponsive when viewing files
                    being heavily accessed
           Product: konqueror
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Debian testing
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konq-bugs@kde.org
        ReportedBy: tonedog@hailmail.net

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0.3)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

When browsing in Konqueror to look at a file that is being actively written to, for \
example a CD-rip .WAV file that cdparanoia is creating, the file manager becomes very \
unresponsive. The icon and title of the file that is being written to flickers each \
time it is modified and if the frequency is fast enough (cd-ripping) Konqueror takes \
30 seconds or more to respond to mouse or keyboard input.
