           Summary: Accidental double-clicks cause lockups
           Product: konqueror
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konq-bugs@kde.org
        ReportedBy: mattsheffield@yahoo.com

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0.3)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: gcc 2.96
OS: Linux

When KDE is configured to use single-click activation, if a user double-clicks on a \
USB mount point (in this case a USB CompactFlash reader), it will cause the system to \
lock up and require rebooting. The errant processes may not be killed remotely \
either.

To remedy this, a method should be developed to force double-clicks into \
single-clicks when single-click mode is active. In effect, the second click should be \
ignored or "deleted."

This could potentially be an operating system (Linux 2.4.10) problem of duplicate \
mounting of USB devices, however, having this feature is still very important.
