The WIN key is defined by KDE as F13, and works upon pressing (bound to windows-menu). This doesn't let me use the Win key to bind a lot of other, quite useful features. For example, it is very natural to bind WIN+number to switching to a given desktop, or WIN+arrow to directional desktop navigation. I think it is best if the WIN key worked in the following way: 1. It works as a modifier, i.e. if I press it and then press some other key, it is a multi-key combination. 2. If I press it and release without pressing anything else, it can work as a regular F13.
