Package: ark
Version: v2.1.9 (using KDE 3.0.2 )
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-4GB
OS/Compiler notes:

1)
Extracting an archive via contextmenu is fine but I'm missing a new entry in like \
"create archive". That would be a great feature: right click on a file or directory \
opens the standard-contextmenu with the new menuitem. Selecting this item opens a \
dialog with supported archive-formats (rar, (tar)gz, (tar)bz2, zip, cpio, ...) and \
further options for creating a new archive (like WinRar and similar programs do it on \
Winblow$).

2)
It is good that ark supports rar but it doesn't know ace files (created with winace: \
www.winace.com). There exists an unace-version for linux (like unrar) which could be \
included into or used by ark and a complete ace-version for linux is planned.
