Subject: Bug#46021: kpovmodeler segfaults after rendering an image
From: lenz () grimmer ! com
Date: 2002-08-01 9:26:13
[Download RAW message or body]
Package: kpovmodeler
Version: 0.2 (using KDE 3.0.2 )
Severity: crash
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-4GB
OS/Compiler notes:
This happens reproducable with the RPM provided
by SuSE (supplementary for SuSE Linux 8.0 from ftp.suse.com) and when I compile it by myself.
kpovmodeler works fine as long as I do not trigger any
POVRay output. As soon as I try to render the scene,
or even when I try to preview a texture, kpovmodeler
crashes as soon as the rendered image is done. Here is
a backtrace (tried to render the cheese.kpm demo
scene):

On the console where I started kpovmodeler, I also
noticed the following error message:
QImage::scanLine: Index 240 out of range
Hope that helps to track it down... I am using
POVRay-3.1g (the one that ships with SuSE Linux 8.0)
(Submitted via bugs.kde.org)
