In the KAB application associated with KDE 3.0.2, the addressbook is stored at $HOME/.kde/share/apps/kabc . I like to keep all of my data on a single (encrypted) partition for ease of backing things up and security. I can't figure out how to relocate the file, and symlinks are over written by the applications.
