Subject: Keyboard and mouse hangs on KDE logout running level 4
From: chiang_k@pacbell.net

Package: kdm
Version: KDE 2.1.2
Severity: normal
Installed from: Slackware Packages
Compiler: Kernel 2.4.5
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

I just recently switched to run level 4 (GUI) login using KDM.

The problem is the mouse and keyboard hangs after logout from KDE. (i.e. I can not \
get the CAPS LOCK or NUMLOCK light to comeon, but I can remotely access the system \
via telnet and reboot)

I tested all other Xwindows Managers with KDM -
Gnome, FVWM95, FVWM2, Enlightenment, Windowmaker, etc...(everything that was on the \
list) and none of these had the same problem.

Thanks,

GG
