Hello
	I just upgraded my 2x450 p3 system from rh7.2 to
rh7.3 in hopes that this bug would got away. Alas it is still
with us!

	Upon login the sound deamon does not start. A popup
arrives with an error message saying the sound deamon failed.

	/var/run/console.lock permissions are:

-700 root

the contents are the userid of the last user that got to
hear sound.

A temp cure is to shoot the file & kill (cntl-alt-delete)
the WM and login over again.

	How can I get rid of this problem?
